Penn State President: Paterno statue was removed because it was an ‘open wound’ for victims
Penn State’s President Rodney Erickson says the statue of Joe Paterno had to be removed because otherwise it was an ‘open wound’ for victims of child abuse. He also said he was concerned about anger over the statue turning into physical violence.
