Behind LeBron James’s Historic Triple Double the USA beats Australia in the Quarterfinals 119-86
LeBron James’s triple double, the first ever in Olympic history, helped power the USA to a 119-86 victory over Australia in the Quarterfinals.
The USA went into the 4th quarter with a 14 point lead but would turn that into a 33 point victory in the end. The stars in this game included LeBron James with a triple double, Kobe Bryant with 20 points, and Deron Williams with 18 points.
Today the USA went only 9/22 on three pointers. This was the first time in 3 games that the USA hadn’t hit at least 10 three pointers, and the first time in 2 games that the USA hadn’t hit 20 three pointers. Still a great victory for the USA.
The USA will play again on Friday against Argentina who they previously beat 126-97 this past Monday.
